Sal forest is one of the densest forests in Corbett and is situated on the north eastern circumference of the gigantic wildlife reserve. The forest has some really panoramic scenes inclusive of all the creatures of wildlife and nature. The best seat to view all of them is Camp Forktail Creek Jungle Lodge. The lodge has some 12 luxurious safari styled tents that have wooden platforms as stands. Each tent comes with a private balcony allowing you to experience the nature with utmost isolation.
Camp Forktail Creek is situated close to the city of Garjia that is some 20kms. Ramnagar is some 35kms from the lodge. Other major cities in proximity are Ranikhet (90kms), Nainital (100kms), Almora (140kms) , Kausani (165kms) and Delhi (300kms). The resort can be easily accessed via road. You can come here via private and public cabs.
